I was born in Alexandria, Virginia and worked most of my adult life in our family pest control business. While operating the company I earned my real estate license in 1970. My wife, Sharon and I were married in 1987 and have worked together in pest control and real estate ever since. After moving to New Bern in 2006, we became licensed North Carolina real estate brokers and Realtors. I bought my first house at the age of 20 and my love of real estate continues today, offering clients my many years of real estate experience. I truly enjoy watching buyers turn “a diamond in the rough” into a spectacular property; something I have done dozens of times.
New Bern became my home in 2006. It was a pleasure to learn about all New Bern had to offer through my parents who retired here in 1995. With each visit, it became harder and harder to return to my home in Alexandria, VA. After a career in pest control, real estate and property renovations, everything came together and I jumped at the opportunity to move to New Bern. Clients will reap the rewards of my years of real estate experience, pest control knowledge and renovation know-how. My “hands-on” approach to all aspects of real estate is a bonus that I bring to all my listings and sales. I am committed to assisting you with all your real estate needs.

I am a waterfront lifestyle pro specializing in residential sales and resales. My husband and I chose New Bern because it’s a GREAT town close to the ICW. The variety of waterfront property was a plus, too: typically we have 200-300 river, creek or canal front parcels available, most navigable to the ICW. After several visits we decided on Trent River front. We have 8 ICW round-trips under our belts now…..and 7 crossings to The Bahamas. Toss in two trips through The Keys, an Okeechobee Waterway round-trip and cruising in The Gulf of Mexico. We dream of the day we can cross from Key West to Cuba. Boats…..did someone mention boats? We have five! Our cabin cruiser is City Slickers. The dink on-board is Li’l Slicker.

If all of that weren’t enough, the cost of living beats most other parts of the country. Real Estate is far more than just a way to make a living – it has been a personally rewarding experience for me to assist many families with their decisions to buy and sell property in Eastern North Carolina. I have always kept in mind that a satisfied client is my most valuable advertising tool. I would appreciate the opportunity to show you my points of difference in your real estate decisions.
NATIVE and TOTAL BELIEVER in our area! After graduating from Meredith College, I was determined to live somewhere other than Craven County and I did!! Upon a return visit home, I was introduced to my future husband who had accepted his first job out of Wake Forest Law School in New Bern. Within a year we married and I was a full-time resident of Craven County once again. As maturity helped me discover, there was no finer place to raise a family, enjoy leisure activities and retire. With our proximity to the beaches, the abundance of golf courses and many miles of rivers and waterfront property, the possibilities are endless for residents of Eastern North Carolina.
