RetireInNewBern.com, my website, says a lot about me.

Though I answer “ Seattle ” when asked “where are you from?,” I lived in nine different cities and towns, west coast to east (even a stint in Canada ), before moving to New Bern .    

My husband and I discovered coastal NC from the deck of our boat while transiting the ICW in 2001.  We were so entranced we retired here in 2003.  Quickly, we became involved in Christ Episcopal Church, the New Bern Yacht Club, the New Bern Golf and Country Club.  I also began (and continue) volunteering as an ESL tutor, wear five different “hats” in outreach through the church and am active in the DAR.

After a six-year “vacation”, though, I just wasn’t challenged enough so returned to the work I love: personal sales.

I launched my pre-retirement career with a BA in Advertising and MBA in Marketing.  Then followed 25+ years in Advertising, Public Relations, Sales Promotion....before I discovered my true calling: personally helping people, one-by-one.
