Todd Hi, you've got Nell! I moved to New Bern in 1998 as a result of a relocation with my husband. I was extremely reluctant (kicking and screaming are more accurate!) but moved never the less. 2 hours after arriving, before boxes could be unpacked, I was transformed by the charm and uniqueness of such a beautiful place and the hospitality of my neighbors. I decided I never wanted to leave. I quickly became involved in my church (there are many denominations here), my children's schools (they have excellent credentials) and my community (there are so many things to do!). Because I have 3 boys in 3 different levels in the school system and have been substituting for the past 3 years, I feel I have a lot of useful information about the school system. I have volunteered over 100 hours each year since I've been in New Bern, so I would love to share my experiences with you. As a result of a 2 year search for "THE HOUSE", I became intrigued with the idea of selling real estate myself. My love of people and a background in interior design was a natural match for a real estate career.
